Farmers market representatives needed

Canal Junction Farmstead Cheese is looking for dependable, responsible and trustworthy individuals interested in setting up and selling our farmstead cheeses at the following farmers markets:

• Thursdays  – New Albany Market (Columbus)
• Saturdays – Clintonville, Granville and North Union markets (Cleveland)
• Sundays – Hyde Park Market (Cincinnati)

Who we’re looking for:

Person(s) must be very organized, detailed oriented, be able to work independently, be able to sell and engage customers, and have good communication skills. Must have reliable transportation and seek to help grow our business!

*It would be a bonus if this person has ties to a restaurant or warehouse, where our cheese can be shipped and stored during the week. This person can then pick up needed cheeses from the commercial refrigerator and take to the farmers markets as needed.

Compensation:

Farmers market representatives will be paid $25.00 per market + 5% commission (or 10% commission when sales are over $300). An additional 2% year-end bonus (on the total sum of each market that brings at least $300.00) will be included.

This is a very fun job if you love cheese and are passionate about making a difference -- introducing wonderful cheeses to people who love cheese!  :)  It is also not an easy job and will require the person to be very organized and in good physical health. This could be a job share if you know of someone willing to do a few of the markets and you would like to do a few of the markets (you'd need to share supplies).
